Look up at a palm. Can you follow one leaf from its stem to its tip? Draw its shape using just three lines.
Pause together and listen. Pick one sound each, then compare what you heard. Ask before touching plants or picking anything.
Plan a family visit ↗Give each child a small page to fill in their own way. A drawing, a word or a question can capture what they noticed. Choose one activity together and leave time for something unexpected.
Draw the trunk, add the curve of one frond, then mark the leaflets along its edge. Look up again and change one detail to make the drawing closer to the tree.
Stand together and listen quietly. Which sound seems closest? Which is farthest away? Draw a little map with a dot for each sound, then compare your maps.

Take your questions about palms and dates to Bulaida Farms. Ask the farm about your preferred day in Al Rimailah.
Arrange a visit
Fold a sheet of paper into two panels. On one side draw the whole palm, including its crown. On the other draw one small part: a leaflet, a notch in the trunk or the edge of a shadow. Give your two pictures different names.
